Dr Jalpa Bhuta is an internationally trained psychiatrist with nearly two decades of experience. She received her medical training from Sir J J Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College and gold medal in MD(Psychiatry) from eth G.S Medical College and KEM Hospital, both esteemed medical institutions of India.
After completing her DNB, she worked as a Research Officer for a prestigious WHO Project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, India. She has done Cognitive Behaviour Therapy certified courses in Oxford and London, and Balint Psychotherapy in Belfast, and has had advanced training in child and adolescent mental health in Chicago and Barcelona.
She has been trained and has worked in various subspecialties in general psychiatry with some of the best hospitals in the United Kingdom, namely, Institute of Psychiatry, Maudsley Hospital, Kings College London, Belfast City Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital for Children and Adolescents, and the Oxford Deanery Rotation at Northampton General Hospital among others. She has attended various National and International Conferences and presented papers at the same.
